Amna Haider

Amna Haider is an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa studying Philosophy, International Relations, and Human Rights on a pre-law track. On the UI campus, Amna works as a Resident Assistant in which she mediates conflicts between residents and guides students in successfully living on campus. When she’s not in the dorms, she serves as an Honors Writing Fellow, a member of the University Lecture Committee, the Vice President of the Walk-it-Out Multicultural Fashion Show, and as the founder/President of the new peace activism student organization called Peace by Peace. Off campus, Amna interns with the Iowa City Foreign Relations Council where she helps bring weekly speakers to the Iowa City community to speak about global issues
