The University of Iowa Center for Human Rights' Fall 2025 One Community, One Book (OCOB) selection is They Don't Want Her There: Fighting Sexual and Racial Harassment in the American University, by Carolyn Chalmers.   The book is a retelling and an examination of Jean Jew’s landmark sexual and racial harassment lawsuit against the University of Iowa. 

OCOB is an annual community-write reading project. A keynote event with the author will take place on November 10. Event details are available here.
