César F. Rosado Marzán

Biography

Professor César Rosado Marzán joined the University of Iowa College of Law in Fall 2020. Before becoming a professor, he worked in New York City law firms representing labor unions and employees. Prior to coming to Iowa Law he taught at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he also was Co-director of the  Institute for Law of the Workplace. He was a visiting professor at Iowa Law in 2017. Prof. Rosado Marzán has also been a visiting faculty member or scholar at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid School of Law, Stockholm University's Law Department, the American Bar Foundation, and the Oñati Institute for the Sociology of Law. Professor Rosado Marzán teaches classes in Contracts, Employment Relationships, Labor Law, and International & Comparative Labor & Employment Law. He earned a JD from the University of Pennsylvania and soon thereafter earned a PhD in sociology from Princeton.
