Biography

Charlotte Perez teaches Armed Conflict and Accountability. Her work centers on international criminal law and human rights, and she currently serves as a legal expert to an international tribunal. She has previously worked in the legal unit of the Detention Section at the International Criminal Court, as well as at the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals and the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. In Minnesota, she clerked for Judge Elena Ostby and externed for Judge David Stras.  

Charlotte received her B.A. in political science and international relations from Carleton College (2013), J.D. from the University of Iowa (2019) and her advanced LL.M in Public International Law from Leiden University (2022) in the Netherlands.
