Charlotte Perez
Charlotte Perez teaches Armed Conflict and Accountability. Her work focuses on international criminal law and human rights, with particular experience in the practice of international criminal justice. She has worked as a legal expert with several international tribunals and institutions in The Hague, including the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, the International Criminal Court’s Detention Section, the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, and the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. In Minnesota, she clerked for Judge Elena Ostby and externed for Judge David Stras.
Charlotte received her B.A. in political science and international relations from Carleton College (2013), J.D. from the University of Iowa (2019) and her advanced LL.M in Public International Law from Leiden University (2022) in the Netherlands.
