Biography

Stephanie Patridge is a Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Otterbein University. She graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from The Ohio State University, and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Washington.

Her research and teaching focuses on ethical issues in art, (video) games, humor, and play. She is particularly interested in the social importance of art and play, and the role that they play in maintaining social-cultural rights. Her work often attends to issues of race, ethnicity, gender, and class.
